Parfums Christian Dior has named Rihanna to be the new ambassador of J’Adore, in LVMH’s latest hook-up with the iconic American singer and star.

Co-founder of fashion label Y/Project, Gilles Elalouf, has passed away at the age of 58 after a long illness, according to an Instagram post by the brand’s creative director Glenn Martens.  

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, whose penchant for python and flamboyant animal prints made him the darling of the international jet set for decades, died Friday at 83, the luxury company said.

Iris Apfel, centenarian style icon from the New York borough of Queens immediately recognizable by her oversized owlish glasses, has died at age 102, according to her Instagram account.

The French luminary behind the eponymous cashmere brand, established in 1994, has passed away at the age of 77 in his Brazilian home. His brand was acquired by Zadig et Voltaire in 2020.
